Behind Yesterday (A Thomas Watson Mystery #1) by Richard D. Taylor - I just recently picked up both books in this series at a local thrift store. The paperback editions I have completely different covers than the ones featured on Goodreads. Anyway, it sounds like it has potential - a history professor from 1998 ends up in 1940 London during the Battle of Britain.
Extra Time (Doctor Who: Eleventh Doctor Adventures #10) by Richard Dungworth - I'm not really a sports person, but I do love this TARDIS Team!
The Forge of God (Forge of God #1) by Greg Bear - I've been meaning to read this for far too long and this is the perfect time to get to it.
Ganymede (The Clockwork Century #3) by Cherie Priest - I've been meaning to jump back into this steampunk series and I recently found this at a thrift shop.
Peacemaker (Doctor Who: New Series Adventures #21) by James Swallow - The Tenth Doctor is my favorite and I love Martha. It will be fun to see a Western element in this one.
The Pirate Loop (Doctor Who: New Series Adventures #20) by Simon Guerrier - Like I saidDavid Tennant's 10th Doctor is my favorite and Martha is one of my favorite companions. I haven't read enough of the books featuring her character, so I'm changing that this month.
Red Moon by Kim Stanley Robinson - I've seen a lot of mixed reviews for this and I've never tried the author before, but he's been recommended to me several times so I thought I'd give this a try this month.
Silhouette (Peacer #1) by Dave Swallow - I like cyberpunk and this is compared to both Blade Runner and Minority Report. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews for this, but that sounds like a tempting comparison even if it is a tall order.
Library Books:
Cibola Burn (The Expanse #4) by James S.A. Corey - I'm making my way through this excellent series slowly but surely! Hopefully my Libby hold will come in on it soon.

I read Snowglobe but I haven't picked up the second one. I'm not sure if I will.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any Doctor Who books despite being a show fan. I have a short story collection here so maybe I should try that out this month.
Some of the Doctor Who books I've read have really hit the spot. 🙂
DeleteI haven't read any of these, but I have several Greg Bear books, including Forge of God, in my collection patiently waiting their turn. I've also had the Honour Harrington series by Weber on my radar. I'll be most interested to see your thoughts on those two.
ReplyDeleteI've got my fingers crossed for them!
DeleteYou have a great selection! It's going to be a fun month, and I'm looking forward to your reviews😁
