Top Ten Tuesday: Fantasy Sequels I Still Need To Read

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is a Genre Freebie, so I'm going to be featuring Fantasy Sequels I Still Need To Read.  I really enjoyed the first books in each series, but for some reason I haven't continued them yet and really want to some time in the future.  Without further ado, here we go in alphabetical order:

Cybele's Secret (Wildwood #2) by Juliet Marillier

Evil Dark (Occult Crimes Unit Investigation #2) by Justin Gustainis

The Faithless (Magic of the Lost #2) by C.L. Clark

Fire (Graceling Realm #2) by Kristin Cashore

Magic Burns (Kate Daniels #2) by Ilona Andrews

Midnight Blue-Light Special (InCryptid #2) by Seanan McGuire

Moribito II: Guardian of the Darkness (Moribito #2) by Nahoko Uehashi

The Oleander Sword (The Burning Kingdoms #2) by Tasha Suri

Redemption Song (Daniel Faust #2) by Craig Schaefer

Ruthless Vows (Letters of Enchantment #2) by Rebecca Ross

Have you read any of these sequels?  Which should I read first?  What fantasy sequels do you still need to read?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  1. What a fantastic list! It's so tough to keep up with all the great sequels out there. I've had my eye on The Oleander Sword myself. I hope you enjoy whichever one you decide to start with first!

  2. I haven't read any of these but hope you enjoy these sequels when you get to them. Good idea for this week's topic.

  5. So many people talking about sequels they need to read, and now I feel called out. xD I still need to read The Jasmine Throne, but I'm glad to see you enjoyed it! I'd never heard of the Daniel Faust series, but that definitely sounds right up my alley! Thanks for sharing. :)

  7. I have the same issue of reading the first books and leaving the sequels too long! I haven't read any of the (first books in the) series you listed here though. I hope you enjoy them when you get to them.

  9. Sequels are such a problem! I get so excited for brand new stories (so firsts in a series) but unless the whole series is already out, I struggle to keep up with the next installments.

  11. That's the problem with series, if you are reading quite a few, it's difficult to keep up. Hope you will enjoy all of them!

  12. I loved Cybele's Secret. I mentioned Juliet Marillier on my post this week as well and it's making me wonder if I need to revisit some old favorites from her.
