The Spirit Bares Its Teeth by Andrew Joseph White is one of the best books I've read in 2025. I don't know why I put off these last two years. If you're looking for a historical fantasy horror novel, you can't go wrong with this. It is very heavy and I was getting choked up at several times throughout it. I also highly recommend it on audiobook. Raphael Corkhill is a great narrator. I promise to not put other current and future releases off from Andrew Joseph White.
