Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is Books On My Sumer 2026 TBR. Nine of the ten books on my list are challenge books. Without further ado, here we go:
July
A Fever in the Heartland: The Ku Klux Klan's Plot to Take Over America, and the Woman Who Stopped Them by Timothy Egan - So I was reading a book about Buckeye Lake, Ohio awhile ago and found out that it had ties to the KKK and this story in a way, so I'll have to check it out. I'm reading this for my Book Riot's 2026 Read Harder Challenge.
August
FUSÃO: Untraditional recipes inspired by Brasil by Ixta Belfrage - I don't think I've ever had Brazilian food before. I'm reading this for my Book Riot's 2026 Read Harder Challenge.
September
Accountable: The True Story of a Racist Social Media Account and the Teenagers Whose Lives It Changed by Dashka Slater - This is another one I've been eyeing at the library. Plus, I've really liked this author's work so far. I'm reading this for my Book Riot's 2026 Read Harder Challenge.
Have you read any of these books? What are you hoping to read this summer? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

The cover of Sorrowland caught my attention but it’s probably a bit dark for me. I hope you enjoy it though.

DeleteI'm excited for THE UNKNOWN as well. I love Sager's books! I hope you enjoy it and all these others.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!

DeleteI just finished Model Home and really loved River Solomon's writing. I must get my hands on Sorrowland. I hope you enjoy all these!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alicia!
DeleteGreat mix of books! I loved True Biz -- hope you do too!
ReplyDeleteGood to know!
DeleteI have both Fever in the Heartland and Accountable on my TBR list. I will be curious about your opinion of them.
ReplyDeleteAnd I yours. Enjoy!
DeleteWoah the fact that Jack of Kinrowan seems to be set in Ottawa is making me want to read it. That and the fact that the biker gang seem to have a connection to Wild Hunt which reminds me of the Wicked Lovely series which I love. the Wild Hunt is a fairy story trope I really enjoy.
ReplyDeleteA World Worth Saving also sounds very intriguing and what a cool cover! I really want to read Sorrowland since I loved The Deep by the same author! Merlin meets Jason and the Argonauts sounds awesome, added Celtika to my tbr :).
I might have to look into Wicked Lovely. Enjoy them whenever you get to them.
DeleteI've got Spiderlight on my TBR, but never got round to it... and I've always been curious about Celtika! Looks like a good lineup. Hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nicky!
