Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome to the Top Ten Tuesday now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is Books I Wish I Could Read Again For The First Time. I rarely if ever reread books, but there are quite a few series openers that I would love to be able to experience again for the very first time. Here we go, in alphabetical order by title:
Borderline (The Arcadia Project #1) by Mishell Baker
Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles #1) by Marissa Meyer
A Darker Shade of Magic (Shades of Magic #1) by V.E. Schwab
The Diviners (The Diviners #1) by Libba Bray
Hounded (The Iron Druid Chronicles #1) by Kevin Hearne
Ink and Bone (The Great Library #1) by Rachel Caine
The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking #1) by Patrick Ness
Have you read any of these? What books would you love to have the chance to read again from the very first time? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
Great list! I'd really like to re-read The Lunar Chronicles, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It would be quite a ride.
DeleteI really should read Cinder sometime.
ReplyDeleteMy post.
It's so worth it, Lydia.
DeleteBorderline! Such an awesome book, it would be fun to read the whole series for the first time😁
ReplyDeleteFor sure. I can't wait to read more from the author some day. :)
DeleteI would love to be able to read A Darker Shade of Magic for the first time again, it's one of my favourite books!

DeleteI love Cinder so much!!! Here is my post-https://paigesofbook.blogspot.com/2020/12/top-ten-tuesday-books-i-want-to-reread.html.
ReplyDeleteIt was awesome. Thanks for sharing!
DeleteThe Raven Boys made my list, too. I rarely reread books so this was a hard list for me to create. My TTT Books I want to read again list
ReplyDeleteSame here. Thanks for coming over, Anne.
DeleteI would love to reread The Raven Boys at some point. I'm also happy to see Cinder on here because I just bought that book for my daughter.
ReplyDeleteSince the series is complete, it would be great to just go one after another. :)
DeleteI have read three of these, but I am not a re-reader, though I have recently thought about revisiting some books via audiobook, because I couldn't find anything I hadn't listened to at the library that interested me.
ReplyDeleteHearing it could add a whole new layer to appreciate. :)
DeleteI've been considering rereading the Lunar Chronicles recently but then I worry sometimes that I won't like it as much as I did when I first read it.
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling.
DeleteThe only book from your list I've actually read is Cinder and truthfully, I really wish I could read it again for the first time! Ink & Bone has been on my TBR since it came out because I'm a huge fan of Rachel Caine, but I haven't gotten around to picking it up yet, which is actually the case for every book you're featuring in this post! Story of my life, really! A Darker Shade of Magic is staring at me from across the room, where my bookshelf is located, as I'm writing this...
ReplyDeleteInk and Bone is one of my favorite series. I hope you like it when you get there. Same for A Darker Shade of Magic! :)
DeleteI'm currently reading The Gentleman Bastard series and loving it :D Hope you manage to reread all of these, happy holidays! https://readwithstefani.com/books-i-want-to-read-again/
ReplyDeleteIt is so much fun! I loved the production of the audiobooks. :)
DeleteI love The Knife of Never Letting Go and would love to read it for the first time again. I just remembered being so floored by it.
ReplyDeleteI hope our reaction would still be the same. :)
DeleteInteresting list! I really want to give The Diviners a go.
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool!
DeleteOhh, I forgot to add Cinder and the rest of the series to my list too! I love those.
ReplyDeleteI miss them. :)
DeleteI have Cinder on my list too! Such a great series.
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT.

ReplyDeleteBingeing the whole series would be excellent. :)
DeleteI've reread The Lunar Chronicles a few times and I always enjoy it! The same goes for The Raven Cycle. :)
ReplyDeleteOne of these days!
DeleteI've been meaning to read The Diviners for ages! And I need to read the Chaos Walking books before the film comes out :)
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing! I hope you like them!
DeleteThat's such an interesting point about going back and reading series openers again. Now that you mention it, I can think of quite a few that I'd love to read, now knowing what happens later on.
ReplyDeleteExactly!
DeleteI am so with you on "A Darker Shade of Magic" and "The Knife of Never Letting Go." I'm actually reading "The Raven Boys" for the first time right now! Awesome list.
