Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome to the Top Ten Tuesday now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is Favorite New-To-Me Authors I Read In 2020. All of the authors I'm featuring today were published before 2020, but I picked up their work for the first time last year. Without further ado, here we go in alphabetical order:
Lila Bowen - Lila Bowen is also Delilah S. Dawson who I have read before, but 2020 is the first year I've read her work under this pseudonym.
Who are your favorite new-to-you authors that you read for the first time in 2020? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
I have not read any of these authors, though, I put a hold on the Klune book, because all the raves have me curious
ReplyDeleteThey're all worth it, but Klune's was my favorite read of 2020. :)
DeleteTJ Klune is on so many lists, and I love it! He deserves all the praise and then some. He's definitely on my list, too. xD
ReplyDeleteI love AJ Hackwith, too! I still need to read book two in her series, but I'm really looking forward to it.
Here's my TTT post.
He really does!
DeleteI hope you like Hackwith's sequel. :)
I love that you show the author's photo😁 I hope to read Mary Robinette Kowal this year!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy her work! I can't wait to read more from her.
DeleteI'm so excited to dive into TJ Klune's backlist! Sebastien de Castell and Akwaeke Emezi are both authors I still need to try.
ReplyDeleteThey're going to be awesome. I hope you like de Castell and Emezi.
DeleteT.J. Klune has been a popular pick this week!
ReplyDeleteMy post.
I've noticed. He deserves it!
DeleteI just met Klune's writing this month and I am so impressed! I can't wait to read more of it. Glad you found it as well.
ReplyDeleteI need more of his work!
DeleteI haven't read any of these, but it looks like you had a great reading year in 2020. 😊
ReplyDeleteI think I did! :D
DeleteI like how you featured the authors solely and not their books. I hope you can stop by:

Colletta
Thanks for coming over, Colletta!
DeleteI love all the different styles of author photos!
ReplyDeleteLots of variety there!
DeleteLots of new-to-me authors here too! Great list!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI absolutely love Mary Robinette Kowal's books! And TJ Klune and Connie Willis are on my TBR list. I've been eyeing Sebastian de Castell recently, too (and the sword in his photo sort of clinches it.)
ReplyDeleteDe Castell's writing is so much fun. I hope you enjoy his style.
DeleteEvery time I see someone mention T.J. Klune, I want to throw out my vow to buy less books this year and purchase his. Glad you were able to discover so many great authors this year.
ReplyDeleteI want to buy everything he's ever written based on his new release!
DeleteI have a bunch of TJ Klune books to read. Tons! I hope you're able to find some new authors this year OR find great reads from this author to indulge in again :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my post: https://www.nbiblioholic.com/2021/01/hello-it-was-so-nice-to-meet-you.html
Both? Both!
DeleteOooh, what a great list! Mary Robinette Kowal has moved way up high on my favorite authors list! I've loved everything of hers that I've read -- I think I have maybe one novel to go. I'm so glad I read TJ Klune this year too. I'll definitely want to read a lot more by him!
ReplyDeleteI need more from both of them!
DeleteMany of these authors are new to me but Klune I his book is getting a lot of love!
ReplyDeleteIt deserves it!
DeleteTJ Klune was also a new-to-me author last year! A lot of these are authors I"ve been wanting to check out (maybe finally this year?) as well!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy them whenever you decide to pick them up.
DeleteI haven't read any books by the author on your TTT post! Looks like you had a great year of reading!
ReplyDeleteI did at that. 😊
DeleteI haven't read any of these authors, but I do have de Castiell and Klune on my GR shelves! :) Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting mine!
DeleteI have not read any of these authors yet, but I'm anxious to read The House in the Cerulean Sea. It seems to be the hit of 2020. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was for me!
DeleteI read TJ Klune for the first time in 2020 as well and really enjoyed his writing style. The book I read was The Extraordinaires and I enjoyed it so much that I'm planning to read The House in the Cerulean Sea this year since I've seen so many rave reviews for it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you love it, Suzanne!
