Happy Monday everyone! This week I'm sharing some of my favorite songs from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003). I love the soundtrack to this whole series, and I'm surprised I've never featured it here. Give a listen to my favorite tracks from The Return of the King: A Storm is Coming, Minas Tirith, The White Tree (an underrated gem from the scene where the beacons are lit - I love all of the low brass), The Steward of Gondor (Billy Boyd has a fantastic voice for this song), Shelob's Lair, The Black Gate Opens, The End of All Things, and The Return of the King.
I LOVE this movie. the beacons scene is amazing.

The whole series is well worth the time! Thanks for coming over, Sherry.
DeleteThe soundtrack for this series is truly great. I'm currently reading the first part of The Lord of the Rings, and I feel like I should be listening to this soundtrack.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a great experience, I bet!
DeleteLove the music from LOTR. My husband and I had our first dance at our wedding to Into the West instrumentals. Beautiful music in those films :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That's so cool!
DeleteAH! What a great soundtrack these movies have! Awesome picks!
