Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome to the Top Ten Tuesday now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is Books From My Favorite Genre. I know I've mentioned it before, but historical fantasy is one of my favorite genres and the ones that I'm sharing below are some of my recent favorites. Here we go, in alphabetical order by title:
The Bird King by G. Willow Wilson
The Black God's Drums by P. Djèlí Clark
The City of Brass (The Daevabad Trilogy #1) by S.A. Chakraborty
Dread Nation (Dread Nation #1) by Justina Ireland
Enchantée (Enchantée #1) by Gita Trelease
The Isle of Gold (Daughters Jones Trilogy #1) by Seven Jane
The Kingdom of Copper (The Daevabad Trilogy #2) by S.A. Chakraborty
Spectacle (Spectacle #1) by Jodi Lynn Zdrok
Walk the Earth a Stranger (The Gold Seer Trilogy #1) by Rae Carson
Westside by W.M. Akers
What are some of your favorite books in this genre? What is your favorite genre? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

Thanks for visiting, Lauren. :)
DeleteI must get to Kingdom of Copper. I can't believe I've let so many months go by without picking it up. The Black God's Drums looks amazing. I need to read that too. I'm so glad to see Dread Nation on your list. I love that one so much.
ReplyDeleteI bet you'd love both of them. I can't wait till the next Dread Nation will be released. :)
DeleteI am a fan of the Gold Seer books. The story was great, I loved the alternate history, but I also adore all that is Rae Carson.
ReplyDeleteI need to read more of her! :)
DeleteHistorical fantasy is great. The Diviners series by Libba Bray is an excellent series: supernatural occurences in 1920s New York.
ReplyDeleteI'm dying for the fourth book in the series!
DeleteI haven't read any of the books from your TTT post this week, but have a few of them in my ever growing reading wishlist!
