Happy Thursday everyone! Today, I'm sharing my February update for Bookforager's Picture Prompt Book Bingo 2026. In February, I completed 3 out of 4 read so far of a total of 16 books on my tbr. Without further ado, keep reading to see my thoughts on the books I read in February for this challenge:
8. A cooking pot hanging over a campfire
❋ ❋ ❋
Showstopper by Lily Anderson is a solid YA horror thriller. I wouldn't call it a favorite, but it has its moments. I do wish the characters felt more developed and the satire/ humor elements didn't always hit for me. In a way it reminded me of the tv series Scream Queens, so if you enjoyed that tv series you may want to check out this novel.
My review is also on Goodreads and The StoryGraph.
1. A teacup and a saucer
❋ ❋ ❋ ❋ ❋
The Tea Dragon Society (Tea Dragon #1) by K. O'Neill was so stinking cute and I absolutely need to read the rest of this series asap. The author's art style really suits the story. There's so much more I would like to know about the world the characters live in, but I don't think I would be upset at all if we never know because the story was just so enjoyable as is. Finally, I want to mention how surprised I was by the size of this book. I don't know why, but I was expecting it to be physically smaller.
15. A decorative water fountain
❋ ❋
Terrible Lizards (Doctor Who: Eleventh Doctor Adventures #6) by Jonathan Green just isn't a favorite. Rory is one of my favorite characters of the tv series and unfortunately the author didn't do Rory justice at all. This story very much reminds me of the episode Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, but in a negative way. I'd just skip this one.
My review is also on Goodreads and The StoryGraph.
Have you read these books? Are you taking part in this challenge? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
