What are some of your favorite funny books? Have you read any of these books? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
My daughter was always laughing about the title headings in that Magnus Chase series.
ReplyDeleteRiordan has a lot of great stuff - those chapter names especially.
DeleteI've never read Riordan. Or Pratchett. I did read a book by Hearne, would like to read more...
ReplyDeleteYou need them, Greg. :)
DeleteI love Terry Pratchett books. I am making a list of funny books today. I just realized that I hardly ever read funny books and everything right now seems so serious. Here's my list.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean there.
DeleteGreat list! Going Postal is one I really want to read, I've heard so many good things about it.
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favorite Discworld books. Happy reading!
DeleteHounded sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
It's a lot of fun.
DeleteHave you read Betty MacDonald's The Plague and I? I finished it recently and thought it was really funny.

I haven't but I'm going to have to.
DeleteI definitely laughed as I read the Genie Lo books. I loved the humor in those books.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that we get to see more of Genie in the future.
DeleteJasper Fforde and Terry Pratchett are great go-to authors for humor😁
ReplyDeleteFor sure!
DeleteOh, my goodness, those are some excellent funnies! It's rare to see a list with Necromancer and Fforde, but so very apt for this week's TTT. Pratchett, of course, is amazing. William Shakespeare's Get Thee Back to the Future! looks brilliant, and I'm adding it to my priority TBR. Thanks for a great list!
ReplyDelete~Top 10 Tuesday Post @Lexlingua
I hope you'll love it. It's so much fun!
DeleteI wanted Good Omens to make me laugh, but a lot of the humour relied on outdated stereotypes, so it didn't land in quite the same way I wanted it to. I did however, definitely laugh out loud at The Sword of Summer, Rick Riordan's books are always great on the humour.

It's not for everyone.
DeleteRiordan is always a lot of fun.
Good Omens is a great one, how did I forget that? I definitely struggled a bit with the topic this week. Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/books-that-made-me-laugh-out-loud/
ReplyDeleteIt definitely deserves to be a classic. :)
DeleteOooh, I haven't read The Epic Crush of Genie Lo yet, but I'm glad to see it's funny! Might have to pick it up all the sooner. It's definitely on my TBR, though. Any Terry Pratchett book is definitely a win to me as far as humor goes!
ReplyDeleteThe Epic Crush of Genie Lo totally lives up to its name. I hope you enjoy it when you get there, Sammie.
