Magical Readathon: Orilium - Choose Your Own Adventure: Year In Aeldia 2026, The Boardgame - March Update

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I'm sharing my thoughts on the book I read in March for Choose Your Own Adventure: Year In Adelia 2026, The Boardgame, an additional challenge to G. @ Book Roast's Magical Readathon.  You can see my full tbr here.  Without further ado, check out my mini review below:

March - Off to Adventure! 3B - Enjoy solitude (keep to yourself and your own tent, you want to focus and not be disturbed) - book from your own priority TBR

❋ ❋
Gods & Comics by Kat Cho is a lot of fun and I enjoyed getting to know the characters very much. That said I think I was just hoping for a little more in terms of mythology since I'm not all that familiar with Korean mythology already.  I was hoping for more with the magic at the heart of the story as well although I did like the power of storytelling aspect of this. I was also hoping for the story to continue for just a bit more after the epilogue scene - that would have been nice. If you're a fan of American Born Chinese by  Gene Luen Yang and The Epic Crush of Genie Lo by F.C. Yee, you might want to check this out.

My review is also on Goodreads and The StoryGraph.

Next Month:

April - April's book can be part of your Spring Equinox TBR if you’re participating and it fits both prompts. 4B Find your winter cloak (as the terrain changes you realise the clothes you left with just won't do - you need something much warmer!) - book by an author with a W in their name

My choice: Ashes in the Sun (Burningblade & Silvereye #1) by Django Wexler - This has been collecting dust on my shelf for far too long.

Are you participating in this challenge?  Have you read these books?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
