Chicken Challenge - My TBR

This month I'm taking part in the Chicken Challenge, which is being hosted by Lys @ The Mad Reader.  It sounds like a perfect challenge to do during the month of Halloween.  If you would like to join up, you can learn more at the link above and you can also check out the weekly schedule of events as well.

To get into the spirit of the month, I've picked four books that I hope to read for the Challenge!  Here we go:

Written in Red (The Others #1) by Anne Bishop - I've been looking forward to this for a long time - I've been on hold for this audiobook for quite a while and it finally came in the other day.  I'm actually a bit intimidated by it - I've heard so many great things about it that I hope it doesn't disappoint me.

The Uninvited by Cat Winters - I'm super excited to read my first adult ghost story by Cat Winters - plus, it's set around the end of World War I.  I loved both The Cure for Dreaming and In the Shadow of Blackbirds.

The Enemy (The Enemy #1) by Charlie Higson - I've been looking forward to starting this zombie series - I've heard a lot good things about this British set survival story.  The cover even has some orange on it - perfect for the season.

The Demon's Lexicon (The Demon's Lexicon #1) by Sarah Rees Brennan - I've heard that this relatively popular series is great for fans of Supernatural, and since that's one of my all time favorite shows this is a must read!

Thanks for hosting such a great challenge, Lys!  I'm really looking forward to getting started!
