Happy Friday everyone!  This week I'm spotlighting one of my Halloween Reads 2025 books, Voices in the Snow (Black Winter #1) by Darcy Coates.  This author has become one of my favorites and what better time to read more from her in October!  This will be my first series opener from her as well.

Beginning:

"Everything will be okay." Clare leaned forward, hunched against the steering wheel as she fought to see through the snow pelting her windshield.  "Don't worry about me."

56:

The room was dark, lit by only an oil lamp perched on the center table and two candles spaced over the nearest bench.  Dorran stood there, knife in hand and eyes wild.
