The Running Man (2025) is a fun and action packed dystopian movie. I'm a fan of the genre and for the most part the style of this really worked for me even if it can be a little heavy handed at times. Glen Powell seems like an actor that enjoys his work and it comes across onscreen. It was cool to see him in this kind of role. I liked seeing him interact with Michael Cera. I wonder if they'll be in anything else together in the future. Colman Domingo is quite the scene stealer as the host of the title show. After the reveal, I feel like I should have known who Lee Pace was playing (just due to his height), but at the time it still surprised me. I mean, I've seen him in a lot of different parts over the years but I still primarily associate him with Pushing Daisies. Basically, it's odd to see him as this kind of character because I miss Pushing Daisies so much. Finally, if you like The Hunger Games and The Long Walk, you might want to check this out. Now, I think I'll have to rewatch Pushing Daisies soon.

This week I watched the rest of Travelers, Season 3 (2018). I really loved how this wrapped up even if I wished it wasn't over and that I didn't have to say goodbye to all of these characters. This show has always been stressful, but it really ratcheted it up in the second half of the season. I was so nervous for everyone, but Philip and Trevor were at the top of my list (alongside David as usual - I'm crushed with him even though I fully expected it). Episodes 6, "Philip", and Episode 7, "Trevor", are a couple of my favorite episodes of the entire series. That said every episode from there on out was outstanding.

Ganymede (The Clockwork Century #3) by Cherie Priest is a solid steampunk adventure. It's a little too slow but I still enjoy her style of alternate history. I get a kick out of the real people that appear and the real history behind the story. It's a must to check out the author's note at the end.
My review is also on Goodreads and The StoryGraph.

Red Moon by Kim Stanley Robinson is my first experience with this author. It sounded intriguing, but I was just so bored out of my mind. I realized pretty quickly that I wasn't interested in hanging around for the entire book. I was hoping for something different all together different.
My review is also on Goodreads and The StoryGraph.

The Forge of God (Forge of God #1) by Greg Bear is a solid read, but honestly it just wasn't quite my style or for me. I'm not sure if I'm interested in reading more of this series or more from the author in the future.
