SciFi Month 2025 - Top Ten Tuesday: Future Classic

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  In honor of SciFi Month 2025, a celebration of all things sci-fi and it's hosted by Lisa @ Dear Geek Place, Imyril @ There's Always Room For One More, Annemieke @ A Dance With Books, and Mayri @ Book Forager (Image credit: Artwork by Yuriy Nedopekin), all of my Top Ten Tuesday posts will be sci-fi themed.  This week's topic is Modern Books You Think Will Be Classics In The Future and this month's prompt challenge which puts a sci-fi spin on it.  Today's is Future Classics and the ten books I'm featuring will all be considered classics in the future (if they aren't already).  Without further ado, here we go in alphabetical order by title:

11/22/63 by Stephen King

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch

The Fifth Season (The Broken Earth #1) by N.K. Jemisin

Illuminae (The Illuminae Files #1) by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

Leviathan Wakes (The Expanse #1) by James S.A. Corey

A Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet (Wayfarers #1) by Becky Chambers

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir

Red Rising (Red Rising Saga #1) by Pierce Brown

Skyward (Skyward #1) by Brandon Sanderson

Vicious (Villains #1) by V.E. Schwab

Are you participating in SciFi Month 2025?  Have you read any of these books?  What are some of your favorite books that are primarily one color?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  1. I've not read these. They look interesting. I've only read one Stephen King and I keep saying that I need to read more!

    Have a great week!

  2. I appreciate that you made your choices from one genre, a genre I don't often read. Thank you.
