Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Sumer 2026 TBR

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is Books On My Sumer 2026 TBR.  Nine of the ten books on my list are challenge books.  Without further ado, here we go:

July

True Biz by Sara Nović - This YA contemporary sounds really good.  I'm reading this for my Book Riot's 2026 Read Harder Challenge.

A Fever in the Heartland: The Ku Klux Klan's Plot to Take Over America, and the Woman Who Stopped Them by Timothy Egan - So I was reading a book about Buckeye Lake, Ohio awhile ago and found out that it had ties to the KKK and this story in a way, so I'll have to check it out.  I'm reading this for my Book Riot's 2026 Read Harder Challenge.

Jack of Kinrowan (Jack of Kinrowan #1-2) by Charles de Lint - This duology bind up features both Jack, the Giant Killer and Drink Down the Moon.  It's brand of urban fantasy sounds like it could be fun.  I'm reading this for my Magical Readathon: Orilium - Choose Your Own Adventure: Year In Aeldia 2026, The Boardgame.

August

FUSÃO: Untraditional recipes inspired by Brasil by Ixta Belfrage - I don't think I've ever had Brazilian food before.  I'm reading this for my Book Riot's 2026 Read Harder Challenge.

A World Worth Saving by Kyle Lukoff - This sounds like one I'll need, honestly.  I'm reading this for my Book Riot's 2026 Read Harder Challenge.

Spiderlight by Adrian Tchaikovsky - Well, this looks and sounds a bit creepy for this particular prompt.  I'm reading this for my Magical Readathon: Orilium - Choose Your Own Adventure: Year In Aeldia 2026, The Boardgame.

The Unknown by Riley Sager - Sager is one of my must read author's an his next release is coming on August 4th and I think it sounds like it could be really cool.

September

Accountable: The True Story of a Racist Social Media Account and the Teenagers Whose Lives It Changed by Dashka Slater - This is another one I've been eyeing at the library. Plus, I've really liked this author's work so far.  I'm reading this for my Book Riot's 2026 Read Harder Challenge.

Sorrowland by Rivers Solomon - I've been meaning to read more from Solomon for ages now.  I'm reading this for my Book Riot's 2026 Read Harder Challenge.

Celtika (The Merlin Codex #1) by Robert Holdstock - Merlin meets Jason and the Argonauts sounds pretty cool to me.  I'm reading this for my Magical Readathon: Orilium - Choose Your Own Adventure: Year In Aeldia 2026, The Boardgame.

Have you read any of these books?  What are you hoping to read this summer?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

Comments

  1. The cover of Sorrowland caught my attention but it’s probably a bit dark for me. I hope you enjoy it though.
