Music Monday: Ruth B

Happy Monday everyone and welcome back to Music Monday! Let's share some songs we've been enjoying lately!  If you would like to play and I really hope you do, please see the rules and link up below.

Rules:

Every Monday share one or two of songs you've been enjoying lately.  It doesn't have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favorites - just something you'd like to share with others.  If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).

If you would like to participate in Music Monday, please join the link up at the bottom of this post by sharing your post's url.

"Lost Boy" by Ruth B (November 3, 2015) - I just heard this song for the first time on the radio midway through last week.  Ruth B has a great voice and it totally suits the style of the song.  If you're at all interested in Peter Pan and/ or Once Upon a Time, I bet you'll love this.   I think I'm going to have to listen to the rest of her EP, The Intro, which was released on November 27, 2015.

"Wuthering Heights" by Kate Bush (January 1978) - While listening to "Lost Boy" I had this song in the back of my mind.  That's probably because both have connections to classic literature more than anything.  I saw this for the first time after I read the book around five or six years ago and no matter what we can both agree that it's very unique.  I'd say quirky, surreal, and weird, and kind of creepy also fit the bill.

  1. Both of these women have very unique and interesting voices. Also I haven't heard of either before now. :)
