Top Ten Tuesday: TV Shows I Want To Start

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to the first Top Ten Tuesday now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is a freebie - I've decided to try list some tv shows I plan on starting in on soon.  Here we go, in order by series title:

Altered Carbon - I don't know about you, but I think this looks like a pretty awesome cyberpunk series!

Big Little Lies - I just recently finished the novel and I'm definitely interested in what they do with the adaptation - This one actually came in much sooner than expected so I just finished watching it actually.

Damien - Bradley James in a horror series that expands on The Omen? I'll have to give it a try!

Hemlock Grove - I've been told that I need to start in on this werewolf series so many times.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events - I have no clue why I haven't already started this one honestly!

The Librarians - I loved the tv movie series and I've been meaning to watch the tv show. I've heard lots of good things about it!

The Man in the High Castle - This alternate history series has been recommended to me too many times to count...

Orphan Black - I've been meaning to start this for ages, but for some reason I keep pushing it further down my watchlist. I need to just start it once and for all.

Westworld - I love the movie 1973 movie and I'm actually about halfway through season one as you read this.

Wynona Earp - One of my friends watches this show and she has nothing but good things to say about it, so I'd better try it out.

Have you watched any of these shows?  Which should I start in on first?  What are you watching now?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  9. I love cyberpunk and had high hopes for Altered Carbon, and while I had some issues with it I am glad I watched! Big Little Lies is amazing. I like werewolves so it's weird I haven't watched Hemlock Grove yet!

Orphan Black is one of my favorite shows, and I think you'll love it! Westworld I liked but I wanted more answers! And Wynonna Earp was just okay for me. I did like Dark!

  10. I hadn't really heard a lot about Altered Carbon until I saw some of the creepy-looking ads popping up on bus stops where I live, but I sounds like something I'd be interested in so I'll give it a go :)

And I wasn't too interested in Westworld until recently so I may have to give that one a try too :)

  12. Ooh, good choices here :) I watched the first season of Westworld and liked it a lot. The Damien one looks like it could be very good :) I read some of Altered Carbon and enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to the TV series as well.

  13. I really don't watch a lot of TV, but I did see Big Little Lies and I thought it was well done. I am a HUGE Liane Morarity fan, and am eager to see where they take the story for season two, since the book content has all been used.

  15. I've seen an episode of Wynonna Earp and thought it was unique, though I haven't watched any more (too many other shows I guess!). I do watch The Librarians now and again (mostly when I just want to laugh since it tends to be "silly"). Hope you enjoy these if or when you give them a watch, Lauren.

  16. I love watching the firste few episodes of a series! LOL I'm not a binger and I almost always don't finish a series!

From your list, I've started: Westworld, Hemlock Grove, Altered Carbon, Orphan Black, Lemony Snicket, and The Librarians.

One of the series that I am obsessed with is The Blacklist. If you haven't seen this yet, this is a MUST!

  18. I'm definitely interested in A Series of Unfortunate Events--it seems to be one of those books that I'd rather read AFTER I see the adaptation. I've been hearing a lot about Orphan Black as well!

  19. I'm a few episodes into Altered Carbon and it really is quite a good cyberpunk. I actually love it, cautiously because I haven't gotten to the end of season one and I think that could make or break my thoughts on the show. Series of Unfortunate Events is also amazing! I haven't started season 2 yet but it's pretty high on my list. Ah yes Westworld! How are you liking it? I'm super excited for the next season but I won't be a able to start it until I get home so I need to avoid spoilers at all costs.
