Sci-Fi Month - Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Space Ships

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to the Top Ten Tuesday now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week I'm doing something a bit different for Sci-Fi Month 2019 (Image credit: Photo by Sebastien Decoret on 123RF.com with a quote from This Is How You Lose The Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone).  In the spirit of the month, I'm sharing some of my favorite spaceships.  Without further ado, here we go:

The TARDIS from Doctor Who

The Heart of Gold from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

The Millennium Falcon from Star Wars

An X-Wing Fighter from Star Wars

The Wayfarer from The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers

The Godspeed from Across the Universe by Beth Revis

The Hypatia from The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

Nadim from Honor Among Thieves (The Honors #1) by Rachel Caine and Ann Aguirre

The Rampion from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

The Wooden Rocketship from Saga by Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples

What are some of your favorite space ships?  Are you taking part in Sci-Fi Month this year?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  2. I have never considered my favorite space ship, but these pictures are awesome. I always wanted to see what the ship in These Broken Stars looked like, since it was supposed to be like some sort of Titanic-like space ship

    1. I was so close to adding that one to my tbr - I figure it looked like the version of the space Titanic from Doctor Who. :)

  10. I'm not a huge science fiction reader, but I watched the Star Wars movies a ton as a kid, and the X wing fighter is definitely the picture I have in my mind of what their spaceships looked like, well that and the death star : )

  11. Oh awesome topic! A TARDIS would be SOOO cool, and of course the Millennium Falcon is the best ever. :) Love the Wayfarer too- I'd love to tool around the universe in that thing.

I think I need to read across the Universe too.

  14. The only one I’ve read is Illuminae. The spaceship in that was pretty cool (and kind of scary).

  19. This is such a great list! I got to pilot the Millennium Falcon at Disneyland last month so that one's easily one of my favourites. My other favourites would have to be the Bebop from Cowboy Bebop, the Enterprise from Star Trek, and the Planet Express Ship from Futurama :)
