Happy Sunday Funday everyone! I'm hoping everyone is doing well. It's been awhile since I've done a tag, or a Sunday Funday post for awhile, but then I saw the Would You Rather Book Tag over on Pam's blog Read! Bake! Create! and thought I'd give it a try. Without further ado, let's get to it!
1. Answer the questions given to you by your nominator.
2. Make up your own question and tag others.
The Questions:
1. Would you rather have to read the last chapter of every new book first, or never read the last chapter?
I'm going to have to go with read the last chapter of every new book first. Not ideal, but definitely better than never reading the last chapter at all!
2. Would you rather have someone ruin the ending of a book for you or never finish a book you were reading?
Ruin the ending easily if it meant that otherwise I could never finish a book I was reading.
3. Would you rather lose your place or get a paper cut every time you read a book?
Loose my place - I can always find it again. I don't want to risk bleeding on my book!
4. Would you rather be friends with Hermione Granger or Matilda?
Hermione is one of my favorite characters, but between these two I'm voting for Matilda. I would definitely like to meet the character as an adult.
5. Would you rather wait five years for the final installment in a series or get it now, but must read every spoiler before you can start reading it?
Waiting doesn't bother me all that much if I'm able to refresh my memory with a reread or a recap.
6. Would you rather reread your least favorite book monthly or never be able to read your favorite book again?
Never be able to read my favorite book again - since I don't often reread, this one isn't a tough one at all for me. I'll have plenty of time to find new favorites.
7. Would you rather read in an isolated cabin that was infested with spiders or in a noisy coffee shop with bad music?

Never be able to read my favorite book again - since I don't often reread, this one isn't a tough one at all for me. I'll have plenty of time to find new favorites.
7. Would you rather read in an isolated cabin that was infested with spiders or in a noisy coffee shop with bad music?
I'm not a fan of spiders, so noisy coffee shop with bad music. I'll just make sure I have earplugs or noise cancelling headphones with me.
8. Would you rather have the ability to read minds, but never be able to read another book or live as you are now and keep reading?
8. Would you rather have the ability to read minds, but never be able to read another book or live as you are now and keep reading?
Live as I am now and keep reading easily - definitely wouldn't want to read minds. That sounds like a nightmare to me!
9. Would you rather read a novel based on a true story about someone you know or a fictional novel in which a character is based on you?
9. Would you rather read a novel based on a true story about someone you know or a fictional novel in which a character is based on you?
Ooh, this is a tough one! I would choose both if I could, but if I have to pick just one I would most like to see a fictional character based on me. That could be fun to see where the similarities are.
10. Would you rather have a book in which anything you write becomes true or a book that contains all the knowledge in the universe?
10. Would you rather have a book in which anything you write becomes true or a book that contains all the knowledge in the universe?
Both are tempting, but I would like to see a book in which anything you write becomes true sounds like it has a lot of potential for good.
11. Would you rather read a great book FULL of typos or a terrible book?
11. Would you rather read a great book FULL of typos or a terrible book?
Typos are annoying, but I'd deal with it for a truly great book.
12. Here's Pam's question: Would you rather read by a fireplace or on the beach?
12. Here's Pam's question: Would you rather read by a fireplace or on the beach?
Like Pam, I'm not really a beach person either so I pick reading by a fireplace. It seems like every time I've gone to the beach I get a terrible sunburn no matter what I do. Not too fond of sand getting all over the place too - or potentially getting my book wet either!
13. Here's my question: Would you rather have your favorite book be adapted into a movie/ tv series or your favorite movie/ tv series be adapted in a book/ book series?
As much as I enjoy checking out an adaptation (even if I am nervous about how it's will work out), I would love to see some of my favorite movies or tv shows adapted into books or book series. I would love to spend more time with some of my favorite characters. For example: I would love to read a full blown novel series after The Uncanny Counter (which is already based on a webtoon, I believe). There are so many more adventures we could go on with So Mun, Ga Mo-tak, Do Ha-na, Chu Mae-ok, Choi Jang-mul, Na Jeok-bong, and everyone. Honestly, I just miss the show - I should just do a rewatch!
I Tag:
Everyone reading that would like to do this tag!
Have you done this tag? Do you agree or disagree with my answers? As always, thanks for visiting and perhaps even commenting down below!
I love your answers. My answer to your question: This is a tricky one. I've seen wonderful adaptations of favorite books, and I've seen bad adaptations. The bad ones make you wonder if anyone involved with it ever read the book. As for a movie or show being turned into a book (or a series), it's been ages since I've seen novelizations. It seems like those are typically done with kids books. Either way, I don't watch a lot of tv or movies, but I would have to say I'd rather a favorite book be adapted.
