Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is Books I Want to Read by New to Me Authors, so in honor of Summer of Horror 2026, a celebration of all things horror running from June through August and hosted by Tammy @ Books, Bones & Buffy, I'm featuring horror by authors I've never read before. Without further ado, here we go in alphabetical order by title:
Between Two Fires by Christopher Buehlman
The Call of Cthulhu and Other Weird Stories by H.P. Lovecraft
Jaws (Jaws #1) by Peter Benchley
May the Dead Keep You by Jill Baguchinsky
Psycho (Psycho #1) by Robert Bloch
Rosemary's Baby (Rosemary's Baby #1) by Ira Levin
Have you read any of these books? What new to you authors do you want to try? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

I'm going to borrow your idea and do post later, great idea! I loved The Terror, and Rosemary's Baby is really worth reading (the movie is a favorite of mine). Bunny has also been on my TBR for years!
ReplyDeleteI somehow never realized Jaws was a book and not just a film. Cool!
ReplyDeleteI have had Bunny on my TBR for years and I don't know that I realized it was horror! haha. Great list!
ReplyDeleteNice list!
ReplyDeleteI've only read Ira Levin, but not this one. I loved The Stepford Wives. My husband is a big fan of Dan Simmons. I hope you enjoy these!
ReplyDeleteI've read Between Two Fires and The Terror. I didn't love Between Two Fires, but The Terror was really good. I hope you enjoy both, and the other books on your list too!

I don't think I've ever read a horror novel and the closest I've probably gotten to "horror" for a film was something like Winchester. I guess a cozy mystery is about as "creepy" as I like when it comes to stories. :) Hope you enjoy these all! And thanks for visiting my list today.
ReplyDeleteMay the Dead Keep You is a gorgeous cover!
ReplyDeleteI've wondered about Mona Awad too. I have heard the Bunny books are good.
