Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is a non-book freebie, so I thought I'd feature ten favorite postcards I've received via Postcrossing. I'll be the first to admit that some of these are bookish, but that's okay. Now that I think about it, I've hardly ever mentioned that I'm a Postcrosser on here, but it quickly became one of my favorite hobbies. Basically, the idea of Postcrossing is to send and receive postcards from all over the world and it's so cool! I've gotten a lot of great book recommendations from users over the last 2 years. Anyway, for each of the cards I'm featuring I'll share the country I received it from and how far it traveled to get to me in Ohio. Here we go, from closest to furthest away:
United States (Virginia) - 273 miles - I think I need to get some postcards like these to send!Japan - 6,537 miles - Supernatural is one of my favorite shows so of course I loved this one!
Are you a Postcrosser? Do you like sending snail mail? What's the furthest away you've ever received something from in the mail? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
These ate some great postcards, I hope that snail mail continues for a lot more years to come.

I hope so too!
DeleteI think my comment disappeared (but sorry if this is saying the same thing twice). I live the designs on the postcards. I think the ones from China and Poland are my personal favourites. I dont send snailmail myself, but I really do think its a shame its died out ao much. Theres something really Romantic about handwriting notes from friends and family.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I found out about Postcrossing - it's such a great hobby.
DeleteSuch pretty postcards!
ReplyDeleteI know right!
DeleteOkay, so this is amazing in so many ways. I had no idea this even existed! When I was in high school in the 90's I had a couple of international pen pals - one in Germany and one in Sweden. I miss that, so I might sign up for this now! Also, I'm absolutely tickled that your Supernatural post card came from Japan! #TeamFreeWill crossed the globe. LOL
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Awesome, Aymee! #TeamFreeWill has made it around the world! :D
DeleteYou've gotten some fantastic postcards! I'm not familiar with Postcrossing.

It's so cool!
DeleteThose are so pretty! When I was in high school, I traded postcards with some other teenagers in Norway and Canada. I'm not sure if I still have the postcards.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in elementary school my class used to participate in a pen pal program. :)
DeleteI'd never heard of Postcrossing, but I absolutely love that idea. Oh my gosh, and I so LOVE The Librarian postcard. These are so cute, and I'm definitely going to have to look into Postcrosser now!
ReplyDeleteIt would be cool if you became a fellow Postcrosser, Sammie!
DeleteSome beautiful postcards. What a great idea. What kind of things do write on a postcard to a stranger?
ReplyDeleteSometimes, the person you're sending to might give you some ideas based on what they've written in the profile and every month there is a new writing prompt Postcrossing puts up on their blog if you need a little extra help. :)
DeleteI've never heard of this but it's such a great idea! I love the variety😁
ReplyDeleteYes!
DeleteThese are beautiful! I honestly can't remember the last time I bought a postcard.
ReplyDeleteBasically any time I go anywhere now, I look to see if I can find a postcard! :D
DeleteAhhh, a Postcrossing fan! I forget if I already knew that about you. I love it when I can find the perfect postcard to send someone, especially fandom-related ones. (I work for Postcrossing, too, so I get to see a lot of cool cards!)
ReplyDeleteThat totally didn't connect until just now that you're shanaqui over there! That would be so cool to work for Postcrossing... :)
