Music Monday: DNCE

Happy Monday everyone and welcome to my fourth Music Monday! Let's share some songs we've been enjoying lately! If you would like to play and I really hope you do, please see the rules and link up below.

Rules:

Every Monday share one or two of songs you've been enjoying lately.  It doesn't have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favorites - just something you'd like to share with others.  If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).

If you would like to participate in Music Monday, please join the link up at the bottom of this post by sharing your post's url.

Finally, have fun sharing and discovering new to you music!

"Cake by the Ocean" by DNCE - I've just started hearing this group's debut single and I must say it's a lot of fun.  And, the title is Cake by the Ocean - who doesn't like that?  Turns out that this group is actually fronted by Joe Jonas - I had no idea.  I've included the radio version (that I heard first), but if you would like to see the official lyric video explicit lyrics and all, you can see it here.

"Gone" by JR JR - This is one of the happiest sad songs I've heard in a while and I think the music video illustrates that very well.  By the way, this band used to go by the name of Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.

Comments

  1. I haven't heard of either of these bands or songs but I like both of them! Cake By The Ocean has such a cool beat and Gone is so smooth!
