Music Monday: The Wombats

Happy Monday everyone and welcome to my fifth Music Monday! Let's share some songs we've been enjoying lately! If you would like to play and I really hope you do, please see the rules and link up below.

Rules:

Every Monday share one or two of songs you've been enjoying lately.  It doesn't have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favorites - just something you'd like to share with others.  If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).

If you would like to participate in Music Monday, please join the link up at the bottom of this post by sharing your post's url.

Finally, have fun sharing and discovering new to you music!

I'm doing something a little different this week.  I'm spotlighting The Wombats - the song that first got me into their music and their newest.

"Let's Dance to Joy Division" by The Wombats - This is first song I heard by this band.  I'm not sure when I first started listening to them (2010 or so), but I've been hooked since.

"Give Me a Try" by The Wombats - This is from their newest album, Glitterbug, and it definitely reminded me of how much I like this group.  The theme of the video/song seems to be don't judge a book by it's cover, especially where dating apps are concerned.

  1. Excellent choices, I love The Wombats! :D I totally forgot about Music Monday last week––darn my stupid NaNo-brain. But I will do another one today for sure. :)

  2. Yay! Very cool. In a month they're going to be in my general area. I probably won't be able to go see them, but I'll have the option. :) I bet they'll put on a great show!
