Happy Monday and welcome to Music Monday everyone!  This week I'm spotlighting a couple of my favorite moments from Ocean's Eleven (1960).  It's not exactly a favorite since it's pretty slow and boring even though it's a heist movie with such a great cast.  The characters don't really even begin to plan the heist until the movie is half way over and the actual heist itself is so disappointing. Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin are only two really worth watching here. My favorite parts are every time Dean Martin performs Ain't That A Kick In The Head? Dean Martin was one of my grandfather's favorite singers and that song was his all time favorite by him. It turns out the song was actually written for the movie, so it sounds a little different.  The vibraphonist Red Norvo's solo is something else!  Both Martin and Norvo look like they're having the time of their lives.  I also really liked Sammy Davis Jr.'s Eee-O-Eleven (all three times that it appears).  He was such a talented performer and he makes this song sound effortlessly cool.
