On Friday's I take part in three weekly link ups - The Friday 56, hosted by Freda's Voice, Book Beginnings, hosted by Rose City Reader, and 50/50 Friday is a new weekly link up and it is hosted by Carrie @ The Butterfly Reader and Laura @ Blue Eye Books. For The Friday 56, you choose a book, a book you have just finished, a book you are about to start, your current read, and share a line or a few lines that grab you (but don't spoil anything) from page 56 or 56% of the way through the ebook. Post it and share your post's url on Freda's most recent Friday 56 post. As for Book Beginnings, you share the first sentence or so and your initial thoughts, impressions, or whatever else it inspires, and then link up your post's url with Rose City Reader. Then, for 50/50 Friday, every week there's a new topic featuring two sides of the same coin - you share a book that suits each category and link up on the hosts blogs.
Happy Friday everyone! This week I'm spotlighting one of my current reads, Supernova (Renegades #3) by Marissa Meyer. I've really enjoyed Meyer's take on superheroes and villains and I'm so excited to see what goes down in this finale. So far I'm liking what I'm seeing!

Everyone has a nightmare.

Least Favorite - It Chapter Two - This wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't nearly as good as the first part. It didn't managed to be quite as scary or as funny, but they did a great job casting adult versions of the kids with Bill Hader as Richie being the real stand out.
What are you reading this weekend? Have you read any of these books? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

But nothing ever went according to plan, and now there were consequences.
50/50 Friday: Favorite/ Least Favorite Movie Adaptation
Favorite - For both choices, I'm spotlighting 2019 horror releases. My favorite 2019 movie adaption was Doctor Sleep. Yes, there are differences with the book, but I loved how it worked with both King's novels (The Shining and Doctor Sleep) as well as Kubrick's The Shining. While I love the movie The Shining, it's not my favorite as an adaptation. Doctor Sleep, though really worked for me as both an adaption (of a book and a movie) and as an enjoyable movie. Plus, Ewan McGregor and Rebecca Ferguson are always pretty great.
