Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Spring 2022 TBR

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is Books On My Spring 2022 TBR.  Without further, here we go:

March:

Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden - I'll be reading this for Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge. It will fulfill the prompt for me to read the book that’s been on your TBR the longest.

Howl and Other Poems by Allen Ginsberg - I'll be reading this for Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge.  It will fulfill the prompt for me to read an entire poetry collection.

Survive the Dome by Kosoko Jackson - I managed to get approved for this novel via NetGalley and it sounds like it will be great.  It will be released on March 29th.

April:

An Artificial Night (October Daye #3) by Seanan McGuire - I'll be reading this for Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge.  It will fulfill the prompt for me to read a book by a disabled author.

A Scandal in Scarlet (A Sherlock Holmes Bookshop Mystery #4) by Vicki Delany - I'll be reading this for Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge.  It will fulfill the prompt for me to read a book set in a bookstore.

In a Garden Burning Gold (Argyrosi #1) by Rory Power - I'm so excited to have been approved for an ARC on NetGalley.  This sounds like a really cool series opener.

Rosebud by Paul Cornell - All I had to hear was locked room sci-i novella, and I can't wait to read the ARC that I was luckily approved for via NetGalley.

May:

Romantic Outlaws: The Extraordinary Lives of Mary Wollstonecraft and Her Daughter Mary Shelley by Charlotte Gordon -  I'll be reading this for Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge.  It will fulfill the prompt for me to read a biography of an author you'd admire.

Blackout edited by Dhonielle Clayton - I'll be reading this for Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge.  It will fulfill the prompt for me to read an anthology featuring diverse voices.

Kagen the Damned (Kagen the Damned #1) by Jonathan Maberry - It's been awhile since I've read from this author, but I'm really hoping this grimdark fantasy series opener will be the way to go.  I really lucked out by getting approved for the ARC on NetGalley.

What books are you hoping to read this Spring?  Have you read any of them?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  1. I keep putting Blackout on TBR lists and never get round to it. I'm pretty bad at reading story collections, but enjoy them when I do, especially if they are interconnected ones.

  7. Some great choices and reading prompts! I've read all the October Daye books and most everything else Seanan McGuire has written, but wasn't aware that she's a disabled author. (the October Daye series is fantastic -- hope you enjoy it!). I remember loving Memoirs of a Geisha when I read it, but that was ages ago. In a Garden has a beautiful cover -- I hope the book is as good as it looks.

  8. I got an ARC from NetGalley for Kagen the Damned as well. It was a bit darker than I was in the mood for when I started it. I had never read a book by that author before, so I wasn't aware of what his writing was like. I might pick it up later when I'm in the mood for Grimdark.
