Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Platonic Friendships

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to the Top Ten Tuesday now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is Favorite Couples In Books, but I'm doing something a bit different this time since it seems like I just did a similar topic.  Anyway, I'm featuring some of my Favorite Platonic Friendships this time around.  Here we go, in no particular order:

Jess and Khalila - The Great Library series by Rachel Caine

Blue and Ronan - The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater

Harry and Hermione - Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

Cinder and Thorne - The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

Jackaby and Abigail - Jackaby by William Ritter

Liesel and Rudy - The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

Isabelle and Jean-Claude - An Alchemy of Masques and Mirrors by Curtis Craddock

Kizzy and Jenks - The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers

Robin and Strike - Cormoran Stirke by Robert Galbraith

Todd and Viola - Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness

What are some of your favorite platonic friendships?  Are you fans of any of the characters that made my list this week?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  1. I always love a good friendship in books, too... but usually not if it means there's no romance. Guess I'm just a romantic like that. :D I have however noted LOTS of OTP love for several Lunar series pairs today. Gotta' love when characters leave that kind of lasting impression.

  3. Oh I love your twist on this one! I'm so happy you included Cinder and Thorne because I think their friendship gets overlooked all the time. I love when they are bantering with each other.

  7. I love Harry and Hermione-I really don't get why people wanted them to be a couple when they were such great platonic friends. Liesel and Rudy as well, so cute!

  9. I love this post since I'm more into platonic friendships than romances. Or maybe I love the idea that a friendship could turn into a romance??😁

  10. Great twist on the theme! Harry and Hermoine have long been a favorite of mine as well. Only just read The Cuckoo's Calling late last year, but I love Robin and Comoran together. She totally mothers him at times.

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
