Sci-Fi Month 2019 - Sci-Fi TV Shows & Movies I Want To Watch

Happy Saturday everyone!  Today, in honor of Sci-Fi Month 2019 (Image credit: Photo by Sebastien Decoret on 123RF.com with a quote from This Is How You Lose The Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone), I'm sharing sci-fi TV shows and movies I want to watch this month.  All of them will be first time watches for me.  We'll see how much I'll be able to get through.  You can follow along with my progress via Letterboxd.  Read on to see what I'm hoping to watch this month:

TV Shows:

The Umbrella Academy - I going to start in on this Netflix series first.  I've heard a lot of great things about it and it has a lot of actors I enjoy watching.

Black Mirror - I'm surprised I've actually put this off for so long because it sounds exactly like something I'd love.

Doctor Who,Season 11 - I've just caught up to this point in the series and I can't wait to see Jodie Whittaker take the helm.

Movies:

The Dawnseeker

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Interstellar - This is another one I'm surprised I haven't seen yet.  I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on it so I'm a little nervous to see how it turns out.

Source Code - Jake Gyllenhaal is one of my favorites and this looks like it could be fun.

Alphaville - I don't know about you, but I think this French New Wave dystopian sci-fi noir sounds like it will be so cool.

THX 1138 - This 1971 movie will be the oldest I've ever seen to be written and directed by George Lucas.

Have you watched any of these?  Are you celebrating all things sci-fi this month?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

    1. I just watched it! It was so cool - I have to admit that I was may more interested in Godzilla and the monsters than any of the human cast though. :D
