The Friday 56 (With Book Beginnings): A Longer Fall (Gunnie Rose #2) by Charlaine Harris

On Friday's I take part in three weekly link ups - The Friday 56, hosted by Freda's Voice, and Book Beginnings, hosted by Rose City Reader.  For The Friday 56, you choose a book, a book you have just finished, a book you are about to start, your current read, and share a line or a few lines that grab you (but don't spoil anything) from page 56 or 56% of the way through the ebook. Post it and share your post's url on Freda's most recent Friday 56 post. As for Book Beginnings, you share the first sentence or so and your initial thoughts, impressions, or whatever else it inspires, and then link up your post's url with Rose City Reader.

Happy Friday everyone!  This week I'm spotlighting one of my Name-a-Thon reads, A Longer Fall (Gunnie Rose #2) by Charlaine Harris.  I've already finished this one and it just gets better as it goes along.  Plus, it's always fun to read Charlaine Harris.

Beginning:

It had been a long time since I was on a train, and I found I hadn't missed it a bit.

56:

Eli seemed to be listening to a different conversation that the one I thought we were having.

What are you reading this week?  Have you read this book?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  2. While I do love being on trains I did have a chuckle at the opening line! There seems to be quite a lot of sass in this book so I can imagine you enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a lovely weekend :)

  9. Is Charlaine Harris still writing? I liked the Sookie seris (the show True Blood even more), but I hadn't heard of Harris's books after that...
