Happy Sunday everyone! I hope everyone's been staying healthy and happy. I can't believe it, but I've already completed all 24 books from Book Riot's 2021 Read Harder Challenge. The two final tasks I completed this month required me to read a book of nature poems and a memoir by a Latinx author. I selected A Thousand Mornings by Mary Oliver and In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado respectively. Read on to see my mini reviews:

I rarely read poetry but A Thousand Mornings by Mary Oliver was beautiful. It's incredibly thoughtful and I enjoyed her reflection on nature. It's very peaceful. I will certainly be reading more of Mary Oliver's work in the future.
My review is also on Goodreads.

I had no idea what to expect with In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado , but that was quite a read. I really appreciated the format of this memoir - that was an impressive and inventive combination. I enjoyed working my way through each style to reach the author's personal story.
My review is also on Goodreads.
Did you take part in this year's Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge? Have you read either of these books? Be on the look out in the next couple of weeks for my tbr for the 2022 challenge. As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
I want to read Mary Oliver's work.
