Happy Monday everyone!  I can't believe it's December already!  Anyway, this week I'm featuring my favorite pieces from the soundtrack of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023).  I had the opportunity to see this in the movie theater and it was outstanding.  I was really surprised that I loved it just about as much as Catching Fire, which was my favorite of the original movies, and that I prefer it to it's source material.  Both Tom Blythe and Rachel Zegler do fantastic jobs as young Coriolanus Snow and Lucy Gray Baird.  I wasn't at all familiar with Rachel Zegler going into the movie, but she really impressed me as Lucy Gray.  Her singing voice is outstanding.  Without further ado, give a listen to The Hanging Tree, Pure As The Driven Snow, Nothing You Can Take From Me (both versions) and The Old Therebefore:
