Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl .  This week's topic is Things That Make Up My Perfect Day, but I decided to do something different.  In honor of Halloween, I thought I feature some of my Recent Favorite Horror Movies & TV Shows.  Without further ado, here we go alphabetical order by title: Movies: Dead Talents Society - I had absolutely zero expectations for this Taiwanese Netflix find, but I adored it.  I need there to sequel and I also need the Lucky Hotel Team to meet Adam, Barbara, and Lydia from Beetlejuice .  If you love found families, you can't miss this. Frailty - I went into this one blind and I wasn't expecting it to go where it did at all, but I loved it.  It really made me miss Bill Paxton. Hokum - I really like the director Damian McCarthy's style and I'm so glad I had the chance to see this one on the big screen.  It's very intense and certainly atmosp...

Happy Thursday everyone!  Today I'm sharing my wrap up and mini reviews for the SeasonAthon Academy Semester Five which was hosted by Completely Melanie , with cohosts BookAndBuJo and AStar Reads .  It ran all of September and I completed all of the prompts on my original tbr .  I meant to share this earlier, but time got away from me.  Without further ado, here are my thoughts on each book I read: Group Book: ❋ ❋ ❋ Half City ( Harker Academy #1) by Kate Golden  has a lot of potential to be a fun dark academia/ urban fantasy story, but it was hit and miss for me. Viv isn't a bad character, but she could be very grating at times. Reid is a character that I wanted to get to know outside of Viv. I wasn't interested in their romance or the spiciness of the story. Personally, I could have done without that element all together. The world-building is interesting and I liked the idea of it, but it should have been much more fleshed out to really grab me. That said, t...
