Magical Readathon: Orilium - Lightfall: Old Favour Pass 2024 - Announcement & TBR

Happy Wednesday everyone!  From Saturday, December 14th through Sunday, December 22nd, I'll be taking part in Lightfall: Old Favour Pass 2024 as part of the Magical Readathon, hosted by G. @ Book Roast.  This mini readathon is all about shopping and taking a break from our studies during the winter festival of Lightfall at the variety of shops in Old Favour Pass.  Each shop is assigned a specific prompt and you can do as much as you want whether that's visiting each of the shops and completing their prompt, or just completing one prompt.  Without further ado, let's get to my TBR:

1. The Old Tails Bookstore - Book you wanted to read by the end of this year

My choice: Article 5 (Article 5 #1) by Kristen Simmons - I'm planning on reading this for my Spell It Out Reading Challenge 2024, which will has been ongoing since July.

2. Wallace's Wonderful Winter Wanimals - Book with aurora colors on the cover

My choice: Lady Macbeth by Ava Reid - My audiobook hold on Libby came in and I can't wait to listen to it.

3. Shank & Shawl Legitimate Retailer - Book that will give you chills

My choice: The Haunting of Gillespie House by Darcy Coates - This author is quickly becoming a favorite and this definitely sounds chilling.

4. Smith & Friends & Sons Arcane Goods & Such - Winter elements on the cover

My choice: The Loop by Nicholas Evans - This will also fulfill my Sleighing It prompt for the Reindeer Readathon, so I hope I can squeeze this in.

5. Occult Premonitions - Set in the future or alternate world

My choice: The Adjustment (The Program #5) by Suzanne Young - This series has been great and I've been pretty impressed especially with these last couple of installments.

6. Owlcat Craft Cafe - Cozy book

My choice: A Man and His Cat, Vol. 11 by Umi Sakurai - This series has just been so delightful and I can't wait to read this installment.

7. The Rich Pigeon Pub - 2 or more authors

My choice: The Seeker by David Bischoff and Christopher Lampton - I picked up this 1976 sci-fi paperback at a local used bookstore.  It looks like something else!

Have you read any of these books or are you taking part in this challenge?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
