Happy Monday everyone! This week I'm sharing my three favorite songs from the 2020 Netflix film Over the Moon. This animated musical based on Chinese mythology was one of my favorite movies of 2020. It was such a pleasant surprise and it totally deserves all the love it can get. All of the songs on the soundtrack were fantastic, but my favorites were Ultraluminary, Hey Boy, and Yours Forever. Phillipa Soo has such a wonderful singing voice. She portrays Chang'e, the Moon Goddess, in this movie, but you might also recognize her as Eliza Hamilton from the original Broadway cast of Hamilton.
I've been meaning to watch Over The Moon. I have listened to these songs before, and they're really nice. I need to watch this movie.
