Happy Friday everyone!  Today, I'm sharing four ARC mini reviews - Chaos on CatNet ( CatNet #2) by Naomi Kritzer  (available April 27, 2021), Defekt ( LitenVerse #2) by Nino Cipri  (available April 20, 2021), Dustborn by Erin Bowman  (available April 20, 2021), and Titan Song ( The Carter Archives #3) by Dan Stout  (available April 6, 2021).  I received these ARCs from NetGalley in exchange for honest reviews.  Read on to see my thoughts: ❋   ❋  ❋   ❋ Chaos on CatNet ( CatNet #2) by Naomi Kritzer was one of my most anticipated reads of April and luckily it mostly lived up to my expectations.  2019's Catfishing on CatNet was such a  pleasant surprise that I was really excited to for this sequel.  I honestly don't know why this isn't on more peoples radar because this YA near-future sci-fi thriller series hits the right notes.  Whatever the case, it really deserves to become a sleeper hit.  Tonally, this time around the story is a bit different than it's predecessor

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope everyone's staying safe and healthy.  Today, I thought I'd share some of the new and used books I've recently added to my collection.  Keep reading the check them out: Jack of Kinrowan  ( Jack of Kinrowan #1-2) by Charles de Lint  - I hadn't heard of this one before I spotted this at a local new and used bookstore, but it sounds exactly like my kind of urban fantasy. Alive! ( Valentino #3) by Loren D. Estleman - I haven't read any of the other books in this series, but this sounds like a really cool mystery featuring classic Hollywood horror. The King's Cavalier by Samuel Shellabarger - I've never read anything by this author, but this historical fiction novel published in 1950 that is set during the 16th century France looks very intriguing.  I think I'm going to enjoy this chilvalric romance. Dead of Winter ( Doctor Who: New Series Adventures #45) by James Goss - I do enjoy reading these tie-in books.  This one is set

 Happy Saturday everyone!  Today I'm sharing my announcement and TBR for a brand new Star Wars inspired readathon called the May The Force Read With You Readathon.  It will run the entire month of May and is hosted by Erik @ BreakEven Books , and cohosted by Noelle , Steff , and Max .  It is based around going up the ranks of either the light side (the Jedi Order - from a Jedi Youngling to a Master of the Order) or the dark side (the Sith Order - from a Sith Apprentice to the Emperor) with five ranks to read your way through on each side.  There is also neutral category your can select from if a given prompt from the side of your choice doesn't work for you.  After you complete your rankings on your side, you can also gain companions for your side - Allies for the light side and Minions for the dark side (or a Bounty Hunter for the neutral).  There is also a group book as well, An Ember in the Ashes ( An Ember in the Ashes #1) by Sabaa Tahir, which I don't plan on reading s
