Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’d Gladly Throw Into the Ocean

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to the Top Ten Tuesday now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is Books I’d Gladly Throw Into the Ocean (submitted by Beauty & Her Books).  I don't often spotlight books I disliked or even hated, but let's just say these really rubbed me the wrong way.  My reviews are linked to the titles and without further ado here we go in alphabetical order by title:

Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein

Have you read any of these books?  What are some of your least favorite books?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  1. I agree with all of these except for Flawed - but Flawed is such a marmite book it's definitely one you love or hate with very few in between.

    1. I'm really glad I didn't have to suffer through it in high school.

  4. The Fountainhead! I read that quite a long time ago and didn't really understand it, but boy was it long and rambling!

  9. I actually liked the Fallen books, but Catcher in the Rye was one of my least favorite required reading books. I found Holden so annoying

  10. I think I remember seeing Black Ice around. Fallen has a great cover but yeah I think I've seen negative feedback on that one too lol.

  11. Tell me why you don't like A Stranger in a Strange Land. I haven't read it yet but heard it was good. Now I wonder?

    1. I only made it through 16% of the book before I passed on it. The way the lead female character made my skin crawl and all the groks got on my nerves pretty quick. It just wasn't for me...
