Top Ten Tuesday: Winter TBR

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to the Top Ten Tuesday now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is Winter TBR and I'm focusing on new releases from December through February.  Without further ado, here are new releases that I'm looking forward to:

Stronger, Faster, More Beautiful by Arwen Elys Dayton - Release date: December 4th - All I had to hear was interconnected stories for fans of Westworld and I was sold.

Queen of Air and Darkness (The Dark Artifices #3) by Cassandra Clare - Release date: December 4th - It's the final book in the newest Shadowhunters Chronicles series and it will probably kill me.

The Disasters by M.K. England - Release date: December 18th - It's described as Guardians of the Galaxy meets The Breakfast Club - how could I resist?

Slayer (Slayer #1) by Kiersten White - Release date: January 8th - As a big fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer I need to try this new series featuring and all new Slayer!

The Wicked King (The Folk of the Air #2) by Holly Black - Release date: January 8th - The Cruel Prince was one of my favorite all favorite reads of this year and I'm dying to see where this story goes from there!

The Hod King (The Books of Babel #3) by Josiah Bancroft - Release date: January 22nd - The first two books in this series were awesome and I'm so excited to see what happens in this installment.

Enchantée by Gita Trelease - Release date: February 5th - I received an ARC from NetGalley of this historical fantasy set during the French Revolution and I can't wait to get started!

The Warrior Maiden (Hagenheim #9) by Melanie Dickerson - Release date: February 5th - I've also received an ARC from NetGalley and even though it's part of a sequel I'm really hoping it still works as a Mulan retelling.

Dark of the West by Janna Hathaway - Release date: February 5th - I've also received an ARC from NetGalley.  I was intrigued as soon as I heard it compared to Code Name Verity to The Winner's Curse I knew I needed to see how that would work out.

Corpse & Crown (Cadaver & Queen #2) by Alisa Kwitney - Release date: February 12th - I also received an ARC from NetGalley.  I loved book one in this series which retold Frankenstein in such a cool way and I can't wait to see how the sequel incorporates Oliver Twist.

What do you hope to read this winter?  What new and upcoming releases are you looking forward to?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  7. I just set the audiobook of QoAaD aside. I hope to get to the ebook this winter. I tried, and the book didn't work for me in audio.
