Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Meant To Read In 2018 But Didn't Get To

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to the Top Ten Tuesday now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is Books I Meant To Read In 2018 But Didn't Get To.  Well, my tbr is pretty massive so my list of books I mean to get to is pretty long, but these are the books that I didn't get around to that made me feel very disappointed in myself.  Here we go, in alphabetical order by title:

Dreadful Company (Dr. Greta Helsing #2) by Vivian Shaw

For a Muse of Fire (For a Muse of Fire #1) by Heidi Heilig

Future Lost (Future Shock #3) by Elizabeth Briggs

Given to the Earth (Given Duet #2) by Mindy McGinnis

The Invasion (The Call #2) by Peadar O'Guilin

Odd & True by Cat Winters

Pitch Dark by Courtney Alameda

The Steep & Thorny Way by Cat Winters

This Darkness Mine by Mindy McGinnis

Yesternight by Cat Winters

  1. Ooh The Invasion looks spooky and awesome! And I saw a rave review for The Call.

Given to the Earth and Future Lost look promising too.

  3. Invasion was one I got at BEA at some point, and it sounds really good. Totally slips through the cracks for me as well.

  7. Cat Winters always writes such interesting books. I like The Steep and Thorny Way and think of it quite often since the theme, racism, isn't often associated with Oregon where it is set.

  8. Pitch Dark looks really cool. Dreadful Company looks good too!
Hope you enjoy all of your 2019 reads :)

  13. Apologies if the comment is a duplicate - Pitch Dark I’ve been going back and forth on. Something about the cover keeps putting me off. Sounds like there are some fans in your comment section so maybe I need to take a second look!

I’m also curious about Vivian Shaw. Her stuff sounds so interesting but I feel like I never hear anyone talk about her books! Great list.

  28. Great post and a great TTT book list I've been dying to read The Call series by Peadar O'Guilin for a long time now, but my library doesn't carry The Call series which is a huge bummer. I hope you can get to all these books, thank you so much for stopping by my TTT post.

  30. Future Lost looks REALLY fierce, but I don't think it's one I've seen around the blogosphere or on Goodreads. Makes me want to discover what it's all about. :)

Thanks so much for the Finding Wonderland visit last week, Lauren.
