Wyrd & Wonder - Top Ten Tuesday: Recent Favorite Historical Fantasy Books

Happy Tuesday everyone!  In honor of Wyrd & Wonder (a month long celebration of all things fantasy co-hosted by Lisa @ Dear Geek Place, imyril @ There’s Always Room For One More, Ariana @ Book Nook Reviews, Annemieke @ A Dance With Books, and Jorie @ Jorie Loves A Story), Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl will be fantasy themed each week this month.

This week I'm sharing some of my Recent Favorite Historical Fantasy Books.  I love this subgenre and I feel like I haven't talked about it too much recently.  Here we go, in alphabetical order by title:

The Brothers Cabal (Johannes Cabal #4) by Jonathan L. Howard

Conspiracy of Ravens (The Shadow #2) by Lila Bowen

The Dire King (Jackaby #4) by William Ritter

The Empire of Gold (The Daevabad Trilogy #3) by S.A. Chakraborty

The Girl With No Face (The Daoshi Chronicles #2) by M.H. Boroson

Litany of Dreams (Arkham Horror #19) by Ari Marmell

Sensational (Spectacle #2) by Jodie Lynn Zdrok

The Sinister Mystery of the Mesmerizing Girl (The Extraordinary Adventures of the Athena Club #3) by Theodora Goss

Twilight of Avalon (Twilight of Avalon #1) by Anna Elliott

Westside Saints (Gilda Carr #2) by W.M. Akers

Have you read any of these books?  Are you taking part in Wyrd and Wonder this year?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  1. I read the first book in the Jackaby series and liked it, especially after I met the author and learned he was a high school English teacher. I didn't read on, though.

  4. I'm not a fantasy reader, but I did just finish a historical fantasy-ish book. Is a time travel novel considered fantasy? I don't know, but it was good...A RIP THROUGH TIME by Kelley Armstrong. You may enjoy it. It comes out on May 31st.

    Happy TTT!
