Music Monday: 1-800-273-8255

Happy Monday everyone and welcome back to Music Monday! Let's share some songs we've been enjoying lately!  If you would like to play and I really hope you do, please see the rules and link up below.

Every Monday share a few songs you've been enjoying lately.  It doesn't have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favorites - just something you'd like to share with others.  If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).

If you would like to participate in Music Monday, please join the link up by sharing your post's url.

I just realized that I haven't mentioned how much I appreciate Logic's "1-800-273-8255" featuring Alessia Cara (2017) - I'm glad that it's getting so much radio airplay.  Without further ado:

Like last time, I'll be sharing some of my favorite Christmas songs all month long.  This time I'm sharing a medley of "Here We Come A-Carolling, O Christmas Tree, and I Saw Three Ships" from Arthur Fiedler & The Boston Pops (1972).  The medley is on this 27 year old Christmas cassette that I have which has a mix of classic holiday music.  Some of them are really well known, but others not so much - and it doesn't help that the track listing doesn't include the artists.  Anyway, after some searching I finally figured out who's behind this medley because they are my favorite versions of each tune, especially "I Saw Three Ships".

  3. Logic is such a great musician, a lot of his other songs analyze the United States and fight for justice. I appreciate him and that song is just so great!

    1. As soon as I heard this song, I decided to check out his other work - he is fantastic. :)

  4. I LOVE Logic. Have you listened to his older albums? I highly recommend it if you haven't already :)
