Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is Books On My Summer 2022 TBR. Without further ado here we go, in order by month:
July:
Almost American Girl by Robin Ha - I'll be reading this for Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge. I've recently learned that I really like graphic memoirs and I can't let this one pass me by.
Odd Girls and Twilight Lovers: A History of Lesbian Life in Twentieth Century America by Lillian Faderman - I'll also be reading this for Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge. I've decided to read a book that fits the 2021 task to read an LGBTQ History book.
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder (A Good Girl's Guide to Murder #1) by Holly Jackson - I've really been looking forward to this and the Popsugar Reading Challenge is giving me a great excuse to give it a try.
The Daughter of Doctor Moreau by Silvia Moreno-Garcia - I lucked out and managed to get approved for an ARC via NetGalley and I can't wait to read this!
Upgrade by Blake Crouch - I also managed to get approved for this on NetGalley and I'm so excited!
August:
The Color Purple by Alice Walker - I'm reading this this for Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge. I honestly don't know why I've been putting off this classic.
Sissy: A Coming-Of-Gender Story by Jacob Tobia - I've been meaning to try this since I saw it pop up in the BookPage magazine. Luckily, Book Riot's Read Harder Challenge's is giving me the perfect excuse to finally read this.
Signal to Noise by Silvia Moreno-Garcia - This author has been great from what I've read so far and the cover does say it's for fans of Stranger Things. I'll also be reading this for Popsugar Reading Challenge.
Babel, or The Necessity of Violence: An Arcane History of the Oxford Translators' Revolution by R.F. Kuang - This historical fantasy novel sounds absolutely awesome and I'm lucky to have been approved for it on NetGalley!
The Stars Between Us by Cristin Terrill - I don't know about you, but I'm so excited to read more from this author. Thanks very much, NetGalley!
Have you read any of these books or are you looking forward to reading any of them? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
Babel looks amazing! As does Daughter of Doctor Moreau. Both seem to blend in some healthy dose of horror with the fantasy? And you managed to get both on Net Galley! So envious but hoping you'll post reviews and like both a lot. :) ~Lex

DeleteI hope you enjoy all these books! I want to read The Color Purple one day. I enjoyed the movie.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to watch the movie some day.
DeleteYou've got some great looking books. The Holly Jackson series I've been wanting to read for a while, and Moreau looks awesome too. Upgrade of course because I'm a huge Crouch fan after Dark Matter. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope we'll both enjoy!
DeleteI'm also reading The Daughter of Doctor Moreau soon, can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you enjoy each of these when you get the opportunity to read them.
