The Upside Down Readathon - Wrap Up & Mini Reviews

Happy Thursday everyone!  Today I'm featuring my wrap up and mini reviews for The Upside Down Readathon (you can check out my original TBR here).  It was hosted by Liv @ Liv's Library, and co-hosted by @bookphoria @Laurenlovereads, @PrideandPaperback, @Sorry, Booked Solid, @Nahomy's Library and was held from September 5th-September 11th.  Of my original five prompts, I managed to complete two.  Keep reading to check out my thoughts on them:

Read a book with lights on the cover.

CyberStorm (CyberStorm #1) by Matthew Mather sounded like it had a lot of potential, but it never quite worked out for me.  My main issue with it is that I didn't care about any of the characters at all. But, one of them shares the same first name as me so that's a plus!

My review is also on Goodreads

Read a book that includes a game/competition.

 ❋  ❋
Lucas on the Line (Stranger Things #5) by Suyi Davies is easily my favorite of the Stranger Things books (although I haven't read Rebel Robin yet). Lucas is my favorite original member of the Party of Mike, Dustin, and Lucas, and Will. I'm glad we got to see more of his story here beginning with the the start of the school year right up through helping to save Max with Running Up That Hill at the cemetery. Lucas really only deserves the best. I'll need to read more from Suyi Davis in the future.

My review is also on Goodreads.

Did you take part in this readathon?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  1. I did not take part in the readathon, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. At least one of the books you enjoyed!
