Top Ten Tuesday: Characters You Wish Would Get Their Own Book (Minor or Semi-Main Character)

Hi, again.  It's Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and this week the theme is Characters You Wish Would Get Their Own Book (Minor or Semi-Main Characters).  Here they are in no particular order... I'm coming up with a variety of characters I would like to see for each book or series listed.

1. The Marauders (James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter), The Founders, Neville, Hermione, Luna, or Lily and Petunia  from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

2. Professor Van Helsing from Dracula by Bram Stoker

3. Robin Goodfellow from the Cal Leandros books by Rob Thurman

4. Brienne of Tarth from A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin

5. Annie Cresta, Haymitch, Prim, or Mags from The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins

6. Lugh from Blood Red Road by Moira Young

7. Stanislas Cordova from Night Film by Marisha Pessl

8. Thomas Raith from The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher

9. Galadriel from The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien

10. Caleb or Natalie from Divergent by Veronica Roth

Bonus:

Captain Carswell Throne or Iko from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

  1. I agree the Mauraders need their own book. Luna's a great character but I'm not sure there's enough to her story for her own book.

I wanted to pick a character from A song of Ice and Fire, but most of them already get their whole life stories. I'd probably go with Arya though, because (if she doesn't die) she should lead a pretty interesting life.

I debated picking Thomas, but considering the nature of his power I wasn't sure I'd want to read that.

    1. I definitely agree with Arya. She's easily one of my favorites.

  2. I picked Captain Thorne too! I saw him on a lot of lists! I also picked Lupin and Snape for HP!

    1. Yay! I was seriously considering Snape, but I ended up not including him on my list. I would love to see more on Lupin, and Teddy. :)

  3. Totally agree with Harry Potter. I want stories for everyone! Brienne of Tarth back story would be awesome too.
    Thanks for stopping by :)

    1. Oh, yeah! Definitely! Brienne of Tarth is an awesome character and I would love to have a story all from her perspective.

  4. Definitely agree with the Harry Potter choices. I didn't think about Brienne, Caleb, or Natalie, but I think those are also good choices.

  5. I never thought about reading a book from Natalie Prior's perspective before today! But now that it's been mentioned, I really want one! I'd love to see what she went through.
And I think I would read anything from the Harry Potter world, no matter which characters starred, but I have a particular desire for books from the Marauders era.

    1. Yeah, I definitely be interested in a sort-of prequel from her pov. :) Pretty much same here, anything from Harry Potter!

  6. Yes yes yes the Marauders!!! Oh, and yes, Haymitch :) Brienne could be interesting, but I don't exactly love her...

    1. I know we get some of Haymitch's backstory but hearing it from him would be fantastic wouldn't it!

  7. The Marauders made my list too. I would SO love a book about them, and also a book for Brienne would be brilliant!
