Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to the first Top Ten Tuesday now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is Books to Pull You Out of a Reading Slump.  The books I'm sharing below are recent releases that are all absolutely addicting for one reason or another.  Here we go, in alphabetical order:

The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton

Cadaver & Queen by Alisa Kwitney

Children of Blood and Bone by Toni Adeyemi

Fresh Ink edited by Lamar Giles

The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert

The Point by John Dixon

Scream All Night by Derek Milman

Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young

Have you read any of these books?  What books have helped you get out of a reading slump?  As always thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!

  1. I've seen The Belles around a lot, but haven't read much about it. The cover sure is GORGEOUS though which makes me think I need to give it a second glance. :)

    1. I think what helped me with The Belles was that I listened to the audiobook because the production was so good. Otherwise, I don't know if I would have kept going with it.

  11. I haven't read any of these yet, but I have Children of Blood and Bone on hold at the library (I think I'll get to read it in a couple months, even though I'm #80 on the waiting list). I would like to read Sky in the Deep as well. They sound like good books.

  20. Oh, I bought Sky in the Deep last month! I still haven't read it yet, but I love the cover. Hopefully, I'll start soon. Honestly, when I'm in a book slump, I just wander from book to book without finishing any of them. I usually have to not read to get out of it.

    Great list!

  21. I've seen mixed reviews about The Belles. I bought a hardcover as soon as it came out because it sounded fantastic but I haven't gotten the chance to read it yet. It sounds like a book that could pull someone out of a reading slump. Great list!

  24. I'm so glad you link to Goodreads. Make it much easier to add them to our TBR. Which I did right away to Sky in the Deep.
