The Friday 56 (With Book Beginnings): Mythmaker (Supernatural #14) by Tim Waggoner

On Friday's I take part in two weekly link ups - The Friday 56, hosted by Freda's Voice, and Book Beginnings, hosted by Rose City Reader.  For The Friday 56, you choose a book, a book you have just finished, a book you are about to start, your current read, and share a line or a few lines that grab you (but don't spoil anything) from page 56 or 56% of the way through the ebook. Post it and share your post's url on Freda's most recent Friday 56 post. As for Book Beginnings, you share the first sentence or so and your initial thoughts, impressions, or whatever else it inspires, and then link up your post's url with Rose City Reader.

Happy Friday everyone! This week I'm spotlighting one of my PopCulture Readathon books, Mythmaker (Supernatural #14) by Tim WaggonerSupernatural is one of my favorite tv shows and the books have been pretty decent.  Plus, Tim Waggoner is usually always good.  It's good to see Sam and Dean again!  By the way, this episode is set in season 10 between "Hibbing 911" and "The Things We Left Behind."

Beginning:

Beads of sweat dotted Renee Mendez's forehead as she worked.

56:

"I don't know, Sammy.  Seems pretty thin to me."

"Weird deaths are always worth a look," Sam said.  "Besides, we don't have anything else on our plate at the moment."

"True."  Dean glanced at the rearview mirror, and Sam knew he was looking at the trunk's reflection.  "Unless you count dropping by the Bunker to put Iggy into Storage."

Sam smiled.  "So first stop, the Bunker - "

"- and next stop, Corinth," Dean said.

Have you read this book?  Are you participating in this readathon?  As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
