Happy Sunday Funday and welcome to my second weekly update for Wyrd & Wonder! Wyrd & Wonder 2026 which is a month long celebration of all things fantasy co-hosted by Lisa @ Dear Geek Place, imyril @ There’s Always Room For One More, Ariana @ The Book Nook, Annemieke @ A Dance With Books, and Jorie @ Jorie Loves A Story (artwork by Varvara Gorbash). This is a lot of fun and I've made more great progress so far. Keep reading to see what I've gotten up to since my last update.

Blithe Spirit (2020) - Going into Blithe Spirit I wasn't at all familiar with the play or other adaptations, but I still had a fun time with this one. Dan Stevens is an actor I've been keeping my eye on since Downton Abbey and he seems like he's having a good time with this. Same goes with the rest of the cast. I'll have to check out the 1945 adaptation of the story soon too.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Season 2 -
Episode 3: The look of the Princess Andromeda is great, Tyson is just the best, and Blockbuster Mitch's streaming wars is a hilarious deep cut.
My review is also on Serialized.

Episode 4: Another favorite episode of this series! It's good to see Thalia in person and little Annabeth's a cutie patootie. I really appreciated the quieter moments of this episode, both between Percy and Annabeth as well as Percy and Clarisse. The final moments of this episode are incredibly cinematic. What a cliffhanger! I hope Mitch makes it (or well, as much as he can)!
