Happy Monday everyone!  This week I'm sharing some of my favorite songs from the soundtrack of The Mummy (1999) composed by Jerry Goldsmith.  I just recently rewatched both this and its sequel The Mummy Returns (2001) which I absolutely love.  The two movies are just so much fun (let's just forget about The Tomb of the Dragon Emperor)!  But, I prefer the soundtrack to the first movie - I can practically picture what's happening when I hear the music.  My favorite songs from the album are "Imhotep", "The Sarcophagus", "Giza Port", and "The Camel Race".

  1. The Mummy is still one of my all-time favorite movies. I haven't watched it in a while, and I forgot how good the soundtrack was. Now, I want to rewatch the movie again.

  3. I recently re-watched this movie. It's amazing, I actually have a really cool box set for the two movies. It looks like the Book of the Living from the movies.
I don't really count that third one as part of the series, as it's a different "Mummy", and a different actress for Evie. And it's honestly not as good.
