Happy Tuesday everyone! For today's Top Ten Tuesday, in honor of Sci-Fi Month 2021 (Image credit: Photo by Liu Zishan on 123RF.com with a quote from Babylon's Ashes by James S.A. Corey), I'm featuring Sci-Fi Books That Would Make Awesome Movies (instead of the original prompt of Books I Would Hand Someone Who Claims Not To Like Reading). I don't know about you, but I would love to see all of these given the proper treatment. Here we go, in alphabetical order by title:
The Book of Koli (The Rampart Trilogy #1) by M.R. Carey
Centricity (Centricity Cycle #1) by Nathaniel Henderson
Cosmoknights (Cosmoknights #1) by Hannah Templer
Doomsday Book (Oxford Time Travel #1) by Connie Willis
Gideon the Ninth (The Locked Tomb #1) by Tamsyn Muir
The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling
The Matildas by Dave Pasquantonio
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
Rebelwing (Rebelwing #1) by Andrea Tang
Have you read any of these books? Do you think they could become awesome movies? What sci-fi books would you love to see adapted on the big screen? As always, thanks for visiting my blog and perhaps even commenting down below!
Ooh I like your topic- I would go see most of these. :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes!
DeleteI am already in line for my ticket to _Project: Hail Mary_. I can’t wait to see what they do with it.

Happy TTT!
Lori
I'd love it!
DeleteFun topic. Slay is on my TBR. Here is my post-https://paigesofbook.blogspot.com/2021/11/top-ten-tuesday-books-series-i-would.html.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll enjoy it!
DeleteI'm usually not big on sci-fi but do like supernatural. I will, however, be looking into the following from your post: The Book of Koli (The Rampart Trilogy), Gideon the Ninth (The Locked Tomb series) as you are the fifth person I have seen mention it, and also Project Hail Mary as you are the third person who has mentioned or recommended that one.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, Kel-
DeleteI was just thinking about Project Hail Mary. What a fabulous book. I'm off the board this week with nonfiction favorites
ReplyDeleteI hope it would be a fabulous movie too!
DeleteGideon (and Harrow) would make an awesome movie! And I have The Book of Koli on my TBR but have been putting it off - I found Carey and little hit and miss...
ReplyDeleteThis is my list of books I'd recommend to a non-reader!
For sure! Koli has been his best for sure. :)
DeleteI'm not really a sci-fi person, but I'm sure my husband would be willing to watch these movies.

Thanks for coming over, Pam.
DeleteI've been meaning to read Slay for so long. I actually bought a copy for a teen in my life and they really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I hope you'll enjoy it too.
DeleteGreat list! Project Hail Mary would be an awesome movie😁
ReplyDeleteIt certainly would be!
DeleteI was a tad disappointed in Project Hail Mary after The Martian but it was still a good read. Happy reading!

Andy Weir is definitely talented either way!
DeleteGideon the Ninth would make such a great movie! I haven't read any of the other books, but they all look perfect for adaptations.
ReplyDeleteI would be 1st in line!
DeleteI love the cover of Centricity 😍
ReplyDeleteMe too! :)
