Sci-Fi Month 2021 - Music Monday: The Rocketeer (1991)

Happy Music Monday everyone!  Today, in honor of Sci-Fi Month 2021 (Image credit: Photo by Liu Zishan on with a quote from Babylon's Ashes by James S.A. Corey), I'm sharing some sci-fi inspired music.

Every Monday share a few songs you've been enjoying lately.  It doesn't have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favorites - just something you'd like to share with others.  If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).

If you would like to participate in Music Monday, please join the link up by sharing your post's url.

This week I'm featuring three of my favorite tracks from the movie The Rocketeer (1991).  I just watched this movie for the first time this year and really got a kick out of it.  It's such a fun adventure that I really wish I had seen back when I was a kid.  If you like Howard and Tony Stark from the MCU and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, I have a feeling you'll like this if you haven't already had the chance to see it.  Anyway, the score composed by James Horner is outstanding.  Give a listen to the Main Title/ Takeoff, The Flying Circus, and The Zepplin:
